As you may imagine, the winter has been mild at Camp Loma, but the forest never sleeps, and the forest debris build up is there once again. This weekend we are only going to focus on clearing and cleaning debris.
Here is a short list of the chores we will focus on:
· Sweep the building roofs
· Rake leaves & Remove Rocks from Lawn
· Rake forest debris away from the rental house
· Pick-up Branches throughout Camp Use Areas
· Cut large ends of Branches for Camp Fire Wood
· Sift Sand in Volleyball Court and replace what we can.
Come when you can, you don’t have to spend the day. If you come, here’s what you should bring.
1) Gloves
2) Drinking water or something to stay hydrated.
3) Lunch, if you are staying that long. Snacks are always good.
If you can bring tools, here is a list:
· Rakes of all kinds
· Pitchfork(s)
· Loppers
· Lawn mower with grass catcher.
· Tarps to haul debris (redwood needles etc)
· Wagon, Wheelbarrows, or carts to haul forest debris. (Redwood needles etc)
