Last year the Faire raised over $40,000 for local non-profits! This two-day event is a family-friendly event. Tickets are $20 a day with kids 12 and under free!
The2014 Redwood Mountain Faire will directly benefit 19 important community and education groups. The Faire features 22 diverse bands of on two stages, several dozen talented art and craft vendors, an array of children’s activities, great food, local microbrews and fine wines, at remarkably low entry prices.
“We are hoping to top the $40,000 given to the 2013 Faire recipients, and it is only possible thanks to the nearly 400 volunteers working hard to provide an exciting, unique event for people of all ages,” states Faire Director, Violet Smith (also a volunteer).
The 5th Annual Redwood Mountain Faire (www.redwoodmountainfaire.com) presents an extraordinary 2014 line-up, featuring Lukas Nelson and P.O.T.R., Pimps of Joytime, the Chop Tops and Flor de Cana — along with 18 other bands performing on two stages over two days, Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1, at Roaring Camp in Felton.
Joining Lukas Nelson and P.O.T.R. on the Meadow Stage Saturday are local and regional favorites Hot Buttered Rum, Soul Majestic, Achilles Wheel, Steep Ravine, and My Stupid Brother. With Flor de Cana’s Caribbean dance energy Saturday on the Creekside Stage, Sherry Austin and Henhouse, The Naked Bootleggers, Who’s Holdin’, and On The Spot Trio will surely thrill attendees.
Sunday’s fantastic lineup features Pimps of Joytime, Roy Rogers and The Delta Rhythm Kings, Keith Greeninger and Dayan Kai & Band, Diego’s Umbrella, Candalaria, and the McCoy Tyler Band on the Meadow Stage. And at Creekside, folks will rock with The Chop Tops, John Craigie, Inciters, Pure Roots and the Shawn Andrews Band.
