WATSONVILLE — Calling all clubs, organizations and local groups! The Fairgrounds Foundation and Ag History Project are now accepting applications for Community Displays for Sparky’s Holiday Lights!
Local organizations are invited to create a lighted display for this popular holiday tradition!
- Display spaces are available on a first come, first served basis
- Display spaces are 20 x 20
- Display needs to include LOTS of lights, top to bottom
- 8’ tall is recommended
- Decorations should be well made and wind and water-resistant
Entry Deadline is Monday, November 2, 2026

Sparky’s Holiday Lights is a drive-thru experience on the Santa Cruz County fairgrounds. It runs November 27th through December 20th — Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Plus, bonus nights — Monday, Dec. 21st, Tuesday Dec. 22nd, Wednesday Dec. 23rd and Thursday Dec. 24th.
Special theme nights include Krampus Night, Friday Night Lights, Pet Night and Ugly Sweater Night! More details to come!
