A 14 year old male had been the victim of molestation by a 57 year old male resident of Soquel named Steven Weissman. Weissman was later arrested for child molestation charges. After further investigation, detectives have identified a second victim.
Weissman has been a foster parent for approximately 16 years, has been involved in the community with youth activities, and has volunteered at local elementary schools. Investigators believe that additional victims of child molest may exist in our community based on the contact Weissman had with children in the area.
