Dientes Welcomes New Board Member

(Santa Cruz, CA) – Ron Japinga has joined the Board of Directors of Dientes Community Dental Care. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Merchandising/Planning and Logistics for West Marine. He has been with West Marine since 2006, previously serving as the Senior Vice President of Merchandising. Prior to his positions at West Marine, he worked for Kohl’s Department store as the Vice President/Divisional Merchandise Manager.

Ron commented on his new appointment, “I am proud to be a part of an organization like Dientes that is making great strides to improve people’s lives. And, I am happy to be able to offer my expertise at such a dynamic time for the healthcare industry.”

Ron has been a longtime volunteer for both Oceana and the American Cancer Society. He looks forward to becoming involved in the Santa Cruz community with Dientes.

Dientes Community Dental Care’s mission is to create lasting oral health for the under-served children and adults in Santa Cruz County and neighboring communities. Dientes accepts Medi-Cal and offers sliding scale fees for uninsured patients.
