The evacuation orders for certain flood areas have been lifted by the Sheriff’s Office. The risk of potential flooding is still of concern for the low-lying areas with continued weather systems in the forecast.
This area is still in a warning status for potential flooding. The safety of the community is of the utmost importance to the Sheriff’s Office, we appreciate your cooperation during this potentially dangerous weather system.
The following zones have been moved from evacuation order to warning:
- CRZ-067, E068, E069, E070, E071
- PAJ-E027, E028, E032
Due to signs of seepage along an earthen berm, the County of Santa Cruz will engage in emergency repair along the Pajaro River levee system which will delay the opening of zones PAJ-E029, E030. These orders will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
