The Scotts Valley 4-H Club earned blue ribbon for their Club’s Feature Booth in the Youth Department at the Santa Cruz County Fair again this year. The Feature Booth theme depicted Wilder Ranch as the local 4-H Clubs celebrated the 150th anniversary of the California State Parks system.
The 4-H Youth Development Program serves over six million youth nationally- more than Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts combined. Scotts Valley 4-H Club is offering a wide variety of projects in 2014-2015 including Archery, Canning, Computer/Tech, Cooking, Dairy Goats, Dirt Track Biking, Guitar, Leadership, Legos, Pony Grooming & Safety, Post-Impressionist Art, Poultry Care & Showmanship, Quilting, Sewing, Ukulele, and Wreath-Making.
