Preparing for the April Business Expo “Sowing Seeds for Success”

PVChamber_Pajaro-River-Valley-Watsonville Seeds for Success Times Publishing Group Inc tpgonlinedaily.comThere’s really nothing more beautiful than the Pajaro Valley in the springtime! The Chamber has been buzzing with activity and we’re gearing up for the Business Expo “Sowing Seeds for Success”, coming up on April 23. This is an outstanding way to showcase your business, products and services. One of my favorite sayings is “doing business without marketing is like winking at someone in the dark… you know what you’re doing, but no one else does.” Your success depends on showcasing what your business has to offer, so register now for the Expo and “Sow those seeds for success!”

Something I love about living here in paradise is that every day is like a vacation. Have you ever looked at the Pajaro Valley as if you were a visitor? Plan a weekend this spring to go on a “staycation” right here and visit some of our Chamber members!

Visit Gizdich Ranch for a piece of pie, strawberry shortcake or pick your own berries; go wine tasting at Wargin Wines, Myka Cellars or Alfaro Winery; enjoy a sandwich at Freedom Meat Lockers (and take some meat home to BBQ); attend a Second Saturday event at the Ag History Museum; take a springtime stroll through Alladin Nursery; treat the kids to family fun at Pump’d Inflatable Fun Center; hike on the miles of trails along the beautiful Watsonville Wetlands; explore Mt. Madonna; visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium; grab lunch at the Appleton Grill, Nacho Mama’s, Monterey Bay Caterers, Taylor’s Hot Dog Stand, or a burrito from D’La Colmena and take a walk to find the apple box murals which are hidden in plain sight all over downtown; enjoy an evening at the Santa Cruz Symphony and then dinner at Shadowbrook or The Crow’s Nest; or really make it a getaway and take the family camping at KOA or rent a house or condo at Pajaro Dunes Resort.

These are just the tip of the iceberg of the treasures we have right here! What are some of your favorite things to do?

Speaking of things to do, are you on the email list to receive our weekly e-newsletter, Bits and Blogs? It’s sent out each Tuesday morning to approximately 1,400 people and is the best way to keep informed of things happening with the Chamber and the community. If you’re a member and would like your information included in Bits and Blogs, please let me know by emailing me at Shaz@pajarovalleychamber.com.
