Supervisor Zach Friend will host a tele-town hall on Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 6-7 pm with one of the most influential medical professionals in the United States, Dr. Robert Wachter.

Dr. Wachter is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Medicine at UCSF and author of 300 medical articles and 6 books, including the New York Times bestseller Digital Doctor. He coined the term “hospitalist” and is a past president of the Society of Hospital Medicine and Past Chair of the Board of Internal Medicine.
He is an expert on COVID-19, digital medicine and front-line hospital care. He will be speaking about our state and national efforts on COVID-19, and the future of California and national medicine.
