Santa Cruz County Supervisor Bruce McPherson will co-host a virtual town hall with the Valley Women’s Club 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, on the topic of recovery from the CZU Lighting Complex fire that has destroyed more than 400 homes in the San Lorenzo Valley.
He will provide information on the vounty’s approach to rebuilding. County Public Works Director Matt Machado and Environmental Health Director Marilyn Underwood will discuss the initial recovery phases, including debris removal and handling of hazardous waste.
