Watsonville, CA – The 2024 Santa Cruz County Fair opens tomorrow, Wednesday September 11th! Today, the fairgrounds are bustling with activity as volunteers work to bring “Pioneer Days to Modern Ways” to life for this highly anticipated 5-day event!
Among our NEW ATTRACTIONS this year, a nightly Skye Dreams Drone Show and Ed Camp. Ed Camp is an educational experience for kids. It includes a PVUSD tiny home and Home Depot Make-n-Take projects.
Also, all our vendors and makers are housed under the new Fairgrounds Pavilion. And, a new Mobimat has been installed on the lawn to improve access to the Pavilion.
The exhibit buildings are filled with unique and colorful entries… from LEGOs to floriculture, fine arts to innovation! The barns are filled with Junior Livestock Auction animals!

Opening Day Details:
-Opening Ceremony, including Quilts of Valor presentation, begins at 11:30am at Main Gate
-Fair Opens at noon
-It’s Senior Day and Veterans Day
-Seniors 62+ are $10 at the gate
-Veterans and Active-Duty Military are free with ID
The Santa Cruz County Fair celebrates the rich agricultural history of our community and people and invests heavily in bringing this heritage to our youth.
