California has 1,264 miles of coastline and more than 100 beach towns and cities situated on the coast. USA Today asked a panel of California travel experts to list their favorite 20 Golden State beaches. The 20 nominees for Best California Beach include locations from cities to state parks, and everything in between.
The public – YOU – can vote for your favorite California beach once per day until voting ends on Monday, March 16 at noon ET.
