Mary Puppins and Pup Norris are two tiny celebrities that are looking for starring roles in your heart and home! These two Yorkshire terrier mixes are about four-months old and are as fun and friendly as they come. Come in to the Santa Cruz SPCA and let them audition for you, we are sure you’ll be charmed by their perfect blend of spunk, sass, and sweetness.
These orphaned puppies found themselves in a bit of a pickle when they became trapped under a home undergoing a remodel. Construction workers heard their little cries and were able to free them from a potentially dangerous situation. As a thank you, Pup Norris and Mary Puppins covered the men in kisses and nibbles.
Mary Puppins is the smaller of the two with daintiness about her. She loves to play but will seek out a lap to sit on and contentedly chew her toys while giving you intermittent kisses. Pup Norris is the adventurous type and will entertain himself by making anything into a toy. He’ll then bring it to you as if to show you “look what I found!” and act as proud as a pea.
Because Pup Norris and Mary Puppins are puppies, potential adopters should know that they will require all that is entailed with puppy training, including potty, obedience and proper socialization.
These little tykes are an active bunch and enjoy lots of activity. Because of their size, they don’t need a ton of space but will require a lot of daily exercise to wear out their puppy energy. A tired puppy is a happy puppy — not to mention easier to train and handle. They are at a great age to integrate into your family and both have the intelligence to learn quickly and mold into the dog you’ve always dreamt of. Come on down to the SPCA and let Pup Norris and Mary Puppins steal the show! Look at these two cuties on our Facebook! www.facebook.com/SantaCruzSPCA
