Notice is hereby given that there is vacancy for one seat on the Capitola Planning Commission to fill an unexpired term that will expire in December 2016.
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Capitola Municipal Code Section 2.20.020 the Five seats on the Capitola Planning Commmission terminate 14 days after the canvassing of the regular election of council members. The Code also provides that each council member may appoint one planning commission member.
The City Council is seeking applications from persons interested in community planning development. The Capitola Planning Commission is responsible for carrying out both long-range, current planning, and zoning activities within the City of Capitola. Regular meetings of the commission are help the first Thursday of each month at 7:00p.m., in the Council Chambers at Capitola City Hall. Upon review of applications received, it is anticipated that the appointments will be made at the April 23, 2015, Regular Meeting of the City Council.
