In a response to the current COVID-19 situation and the “Shelter In Place” order given by the Santa Cruz County Health Department, Bay Federal Credit Union has announced that they are temporarily closing their Aptos and Scotts Valley branches beginning Wednesday, March 18.
The Credit Union is also temporarily ending their Saturday branch hours for all locations until the shelter order is removed (currently estimated for April 7).
The decision to temporarily close both locations was made to help with social distancing and manage employee absenteeism due to school closures. Remaining staff from the Aptos and Scotts Valley locations will be relocated to support other branch locations during the temporary closure.
ATMs at both locations will remain open, and the Call Center that operates 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays will remain operational.
