On 9/3/13, Sheriff’s detectives arrested Ruben Ceballos Cobarruvias for child molestations. Sheriff’s detectives determined after a detailed investigation that Cobarruvias had illegal conduct with two minors approximately 10 years prior at VHM Christian School in Live Oak.
Cobarruvias had worked as a janitor and then bus driver at VHM Christian School and had limited contact at Monterey Bay Academy since approximately 2001. Investigators believe that additional victims of child molest may exist in our community based on the contact Cobarruvias had with children in the area.
