What To Think About When Preparing To Shop
Some of our local supermarkets are doing what they can to maintain a safe environment and to fight against the hoarding.
Deluxe Foods has closed their Hot Food and Olive Bars, Nob Hill is not allowing self-service in the bakery, and Trade Joe’s is limiting the number of shoppers in the store at the same time.
Nob Hill is also rationing the quantity of certain items that have been selling at an abnormal rate, such as Water, milk, eggs, chicken and certain paper products (like toilet paper) to 2 items per customer.
Those hoping to take advantage of early shopping for Seniors and/or at-risk people should consider arriving early. Lines such as the one wrapping around the building at Costco Tuesday morning are as likely as not.
