Sometime between 4 and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, a maroon Honda Accord crashed on Highway 129 and Carlton Road outside the city of Watsonville.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, looking for any witnesses that may have been in the area.
Detectives believe there was at least one person nearby on a bike at the time, and investigators are hoping to speak with that individual or anyone else who witnessed the crash.
